The tide will determine what time of day we'll head out fishing. This can be either early morning, late morning or early afternoon. The tide of that day is an important role in catching fish, so it makes sense to plan our trip around the correct times of the tide.
Catching fish is what our valued customers expect and pay for, so we limit our excursions to one trip per day.
A 4 hour trip costs $400.00 and includes rod, tackle, bait and of course, filleted fish. Parking is free for Port Jeff Charter Fishing customers.
Evening trips are also available - for information and pricing, please call us at 631-220-1836. Evening trips give our clientele with full-time job responsibilities some much-needed flexibility, as well as some of the best catches and most peaceful times on the water.

We also offer shallow water back bay fly fishing adventures. Please call and we can discuss the details to arrange the proper times and cost. We have two rod outfits and a variety of the correct flies for our waters that match the bait.
Although the boat can accommodate up to six passengers, a maximum of four is recommended to ensure the most comfortable trip.
For safety reasons, we will only take up to two fly fishermen per trip.
Your trip will include:
- Fresh local bait
- Rods are available if you do not have your own
- Tackle
- Fish filleted and packaged
Safety is always the number one priority for Port Jeff Charter Fishing. If the weather turns bad, we will return to the dock and the charter fee will be compensated.
